And I’ve got a good one to share today! This has been tucked away in the ‘fave smoothie’ category for many years now. This smoothie is great for detoxification due to the abundance of greens and it will be absorbed into your juicy bloodstream in just 10 minutes.
When you sip this beauty you are receiving the highest quality, most nutrient-dense + high water content food on the planet. (And after spending this past week at Walt Disney World, I know my body could use a nice detox!)
In addition, the greens + fiber + fruit from this combo will result in some ridiculously feel good vibes.

I understand that often times it can be overwhelming when we think of improving our diet + giving our bodies the good detox they deserve. But let me say there is great power in just starting.
Why wait for things to be perfect (because they never are) before starting something new? It is important to just start — start anywhere. So let’s get in the kitchen, crank some tunes, and start blending!

Detoxify Me Smoothie Recipe
1 cup water or coconut water (plus more to reach your desired consistency)
1 1/2 cups loosely packed spinach
3 big kale leaves, stems removed
1/4 cup fresh parsley
1 celery stalk, chopped
1 medium apple, cored & chopped
2 soft pitted Medjool dates
juice of 1/2 lemon
optional: 5-6 ice cubes
Place water and greens in your high-speed blender and give it a whirl. Add remaining ingredients and blend until smooth. *If you like your smoothies on the sweeter side, try adding some frozen mango, frozen banana or frozen peaches. Yum!
