I love it when I stumble upon the most delicious smoothie! I think I could drink this delightful concoction exclusively for the rest of my life and be perfectly content. That’s saying a lot because I am attached to my mango hemp, spinach smoothies…
If your skeptical of smoothies, prepare to see the light with this one.
Blueberries, banana, vanilla and a sprinkling of cinnamon get mixed with almond milk and oats. Invite your friends over and serve this beauty garnished with fresh mint and a blueberry swizzle stick.
Unless you hate compliments.
Blueberry Pie Smoothie
1 ¾ cups unsweetened almond milk
¼ cup rolled oats
1 frozen banana (always peel the bananas before freezing!)
1 cup fresh or frozen blueberries
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
¼ teaspoon cinnamon
Combine milk and oats in a medium bowl and let rest in refrigerator for 5 minutes. Combine milk & oat mixture, banana, blueberries, vanilla extract and cinnamon in a blender. Blend until ingredients are combined and smooth, about 1-2 minutes. Enjoy!
