Focusing on the right changes creates BIG results.

I know how confusing it can be to navigate the numerous conflicting and ever-changing health philosophies. I’ve too have been there.

For years, I rode the crazy train with fears about fat. sugar. calories. getting enough protein. getting enough calcium. getting to many carbs. not getting enough carbs. Gluten-free. Dairy-free. Are eggs good or bad? Is fruit to high in sugar?  Sound familiar?

I believe that conventional dieting is nothing short of sheer torture.

Today, I am happy to tell you that I am living my dream lifestyle. But, it didn’t happen overnight, and it didn’t happen without challenges and many learning opportunities along the way.

I finally came to peace with the fact that I am a pleasure seeker. I stopped beating myself up over my inconsistencies and I surrendered to living my life with passion and pursuing the things that matter most.

The reality of what drives me today – food is a fascination of mine.

I covet simple recipes with just a few fresh ingredients that not only make my taste buds smile, they fuel my energetic lifestyle. I love visiting farmers markets for the the flavor of locally grown, artisan ingredients. And I never cease to be amazed at the power of real food to heal + balance our bodies.

I believe life should be simple & delicious.

I infuse all my programs with passion + inspiration and I am thrilled and honored to share them with you.

Here are just a few things you will learn:

  • The right kind of emotional eating.
  • How to get rid of the “muffin top” for good.
  • How to kick your sugar cravings to the curb.
  • Which foods help your body cope with stress.
  • How to create an inner environment that radiates glowing skin.
  • Which foods support digestive health so that you can assimilate nutrients efficiently.

And much, much, more….

I am here for you. Won’t you join me?

EDUCATION. I received my four-year undergraduate degree from the University of Rhode Island. During this time, I studied abroad in Florence, Italy — it is beyond impossible to describe my study abroad experience. I mean, how could I compile the most exciting, thrilling, and eye opening months of my life into just a few sentences? Let me try. My passion for food and culture exploded while living in Italy. I was completely amazed by the pride, respect and reverence for local grown produce and regional specialties as well as the emphasis on family meals and rituals.

Following my graduation, I relocated to San Diego, CA and headed back to school to learn everything I could about nutrition, health and wellness. I completed a 2-year program {instructed by many of the top leaders in the health + wellness field} and received my certification as a Nutrition Counselor. In addition, I completed a 1,000 hour program and received my certification as a Holistic Health Practitioner. My education included advanced nutrition, anatomy/physiology, herbology, oriental health principles + practices and concluded with a 6 month clinical internship.

In 2011, I received my certification in Plant-Based Nutrition from Cornell University and in January 2014, I am set to begin a 2-year degree for my Masters in Nutrition.
