My Favorite 5-Minute Dessert – Raw Berry Crisp

Today I have a little treat for you! You like raw desserts right? I thought so.

Raw Berry Crumble is the perfect seasonal dessert! It’s indulgent without being heavy, and it’s laughably simple to make.

Desserts don’t have to be complicated.

This recipe is super easy, as is any raw crumble but the best part is that you don’t need to bother with cooking time. So as soon as it’s placed in a serving bowl, it’s done! Perfect dessert item to bring to a party.

Walnuts, dates and coconut oil are the key players that make this crisp so completely addictive.

Quick, tasty, and free from all the refined sugar, flour, and butter of traditional crisp recipes, but with a taste that will make you say, I can’t believe this is healthy. And by keeping this dessert raw, we get to keep all of those amazing antioxidants in the berries intact!

Dig in and enjoy!

Raw Berry Crisp

Base:
1 cup strawberries
1 cup blueberries
1 cup blackberries

Topping:
2 cups of your favorite raw nuts (I like walnuts and/or pecans)
1 cup Medjool dates, pits removed
Pinch of sea salt
3 Dashes of cinnamon
Few drops of vanilla extract
1 tablespoon unrefined coconut oil

Add fruit to a bowl and set aside. Blend all of the topping ingredients in a food processor until it turns to a nice crumbly texture. Evenly spread the topping on top of your fruit. Enjoy every last bite…

Please note: This recipe is so customizable.  You really could use just about any kind of fruit you like.  If grains aren’t a problem you could use part nuts and part oats.  In addition, you can use all different kinds of spices, nutmeg would be amazing as well as a pinch of ground ginger!
