I'm afraid. I have tried and failed at so many programs in the past. What makes yours different?
I’m certain that you have heard over and over that diets don’t work. The traditional American idea of dieting is “portion control” or reducing your caloric intake. These approaches fail because you are only reducing portions of unhealthy, highly processed, fatty foods. My program seeks to fundamentally change what you eat. When you reorder your diet to eliminate processed foods and increase your intake of fruits + vegetables you will lose weight as well as reduce your risk of cancer, heart disease, diabetes and a host of other diseases. My program is science-based and is designed to be convenient, crazy delicious & effective.
Who are your programs for?
My program requires commitment and effort on your part. If you really want it to work, then you’ve got to be willing to be honest with me, and with yourself. You’ve got to be willing to experiment with strategies, and to make observations about yourself. And, quite simply, you’ve got to be willing to invest time and energy into the process.
I'm very busy and I eat out often. Can I still participate?
Certainly. We will address your specific needs and create solutions based on your lifestyle.
I have specific dietary needs. Will that be a problem?
Not at all! We can modify any program to meet your needs.
Do you accept insurance?
Currently, I do not do any direct billing to insurance companies for nutritional counseling services. You may submit your receipt after your service and work with your insurance company for reimbursement.
Please be advised that nutrition therapy is often not well covered or has exclusions and limited visits placed on it.
Call your insurance company first if this is a concern. Payment will be expected at the time of each session. Cash, check and credit cards are accepted.
